Scars from playing football with boys in the streets during hot summer days and endless childhood laughter, what I wouldn't give.
Monkey bars and recess on blacktops paved with bark and other harmful items for kids to pay on yet no one complained and we all got to take a turn.
Running through sprinklers, chasing the dog, reading Shakespeare and developing plays for your parents to see after a long hard days work with a smile to reaffirm that they are your as much as you are them.
Cloud watching with your Father on the roof of your house at night talking about aliens and building ships so explore the vast universe while falling asleep in the best seat in the house.
My mother's voice when she sang to her favorite songs while washing dishes allowing the wind hit her freckled face, dimples galore.
Making new friends over BBQ's and sleep overs trying to scare one another into being the brave leader of said group for eternity.
The first kiss, the first hand holding session, the first date, the first broken heart, the first triumph over all that seems impossible to me at the time for sake of finding and loosing love.
Signing papers to "my" new apartment and realizing I have to clean it on a daily basis without the help of dear ol Mom and dad( still isn't easy).
Driving long trips to who knows where and for what but along the way there's this new thing about me once more and life seems a little more eased.
Pictures that last a thousand years saying a thousand things to a million people, Vegas never looked so good.
Finding out mortality before I knew what was to come later in life if no one would have told me it was so.
Making promises that no heart could bare witness if the heart said it well enough to be as good as every word.

Reinventing who I am. . .again and again; who knew it could be wonderful.
Opening up for yet another time period to bless me with a round of applause, the symphony extracted straight out of the Sombrero Galaxy in my honor.
