La Chanson

Rows of fruits and vegetables adorn the Ferria while patrons mingled about in search for their weekly meals. The smell of earth, coffee, sweets and meat filled the covered area laden with community time and attention. Familiar faces shoot smiles and greetings to old customers and new spreading "The Good Word". Life here is easy.

The heat of the day bounces it's reign from person to person entering then, the coolness of the Ferria shrouds the lot in protection however, upon departure, Señor Solei pummels the departing. Each station offers the medicine and magic of La Finca. Praise be the rise and fall of each season gifting food and shelter alike. Waves of comings and goings drape the Ferria those of want and need, you and I are no different.

With a basket in hand, carefully picking out herbs, fruits and vegetables, I sauntered between the stations picking out dinner for the next few nights. A watchful eye held my essence in complete content knowing the food I make will be the nourishment received. Softly smiling.
 Patiently waiting.
  Devilishly plotting.

As Señor Solei reaches his peak and the warmth begins to wane, our Ferria venture comes to and end.

Until next we meet.
