Farewell 'Ol Friend

12yrs ago a very bright light was extinguished prematurely.
All of the stars in the sky dimmed, the Moon didn't show its full face, the clouds disappeared from the sky and not a soul swayed in the wind.
 This light was vital to many people, animals and the like, yet no one felt its lack of presence more than 1 girl.
This girl grew under this light, was nurtured by its warmth and never ending wisdom.This light was essential to this girl. Her place without said light, seemed lonely and bleak in the beginning, future less. The girl called upon the absence where the light use to be, hoping it would return to her...not even a shadow.
 In said girls time of darkness, where many tried to claim her, she begged the light to help her through. Shouting into the dark for the light to shine very bright, she asked the light to guide her way home. The light knew the girl was in a pickle and decided to give her a last hoorah with a shine so bright...the darkness ran away and bothered the girl no more.
 Although the light never announced or spoke, they two knew that was indeed the final bits of wisdom the girl would get.

It's never that dark, nor are you ever alone<3
