Why do you write?
If nothing else, I write because I can. I write when I'm feeling my best or my worst and it gives me free license to express myself fully.
I find that writing can take me to a place I thought was hidden and also bring up things I thought I had forgotten.
In this way, writing is sort of brilliant. If I had to choose between writing or speaking I'd rather speak because I can emote more clearly than I would with writing.
Not to say writing doesn't foster emotions. It's left to the interpretation of the reader and I want the people listening to my words to feel everything I truly mean.
When I write, I want the people to be taken to another place and forget what their day consist of.
When I write, I feel things on an abstract level so words are easily manipulated into swirls of worlds unimagined twisted into personalities that don't exist.
When I write, there are no limits to what I can create. Writing is a wonderful way to exude your full expression and leave it up to whomever to discover the bones of your soul.
Although writing is another language all in itself, much like music or food, writing is an afrodisiac to the souls connection.
Suppose I could merge the two schools of thought and make more sense of the things I write with the things I say yet, the distance between those two worlds are mighty fine for me to travel through as I see fit. There are no rules to creative writing so I create.
